Program Director

The program director is a member of the management team of our nonprofit organization, along with the administrative, and operations directors. This team works with and reports to the executive director, or the board, if the executive director position is vacant. This is a permanent part-time position.

Directors are the management-level of the organization, and each director has a specific set of tasks for which they are responsible. The directors work together to facilitate the mission of the organization.

The program director is responsible for the following core functions:
• Organize, and integrate available volunteers into new or existing circles
• Train, manage, and support circle managers
• Manage program expansion activities
• Train, manage and support contracted program employees
• Collect, manage, and submit program data

The main job of the program director is to organize and manage volunteers and employees into teams dedicated to participating in establishing, maintaining, and operating circles.

The manager must be able to create teams that will be effective and motivated to produce consistently positive results. The ability to delegate tasks and responsibilities is essential.

The program director is an hourly employee who is financially compensated for his or her efforts, and may be reimbursed for authorized out of pocket costs connected with his or her duties.

Administrative Director

 The administrative director is a member of the management team of our nonprofit organization, along with the operations, and program directors. This team works with and reports to the executive director, or the board, if the executive director position is vacant. This is a permanent part-time position.

Directors are the management-level of the organization, and each director has a specific set of tasks for which they are responsible. The directors work together to facilitate the mission of the organization.

The administrative director is responsible for the following core functions:
• Spokesperson for the organization
• Human Resources
• Managing public and partner relations
• Event and fundraising coordination
• Coordinating and managing grant writer projects
• Reviewing policy and operations to maintain compliance with nonprofit requirements
•  Looking to the future of the organization, and making recommendations

The scope of responsibilities involves direct interaction with both employees and volunteers of the organization, and working with the executive director, or board of directors to ensure the entity is functioning according to its mission statement and goals.
